5th May 2016
The Adelaide Oval RoofClimb experience allows people to walk across the top of the stand, from the Western Stand to the Riverbank Stand on a purpose built path. The RoofClimb will offer breathtaking views and a unique perspective of Adelaide and its surrounds.
Roof climbers will find 16 seats on the roof of the riverbank stand where they can relax and take in the spectacular view of the city and Adelaide’s suburbs. The redeveloped oval is about to become even more exciting for fans with the launch of the unique Adelaide Oval RoofClimb experience.
The iconic Adelaide Oval plays host to some of the biggest sporting and music events in the world and is considered, by many, the heartbeat of Adelaide.
Since Adelaide Oval was redeveloped in 2014 and became host to AFL games in Adelaide the venue regularly sees over 40,000 fans walk through the gates each week.
The oval has hosted international performers like the Rolling Stones and ACDC as well as soccer giant Liverpool, when they played a friendly against Adelaide United in July this year. In November Adelaide Oval hosted the first ever day/night test cricket match as Australia bowled the first pink ball against New Zealand.
