A boutique stay on Flinders Lane, with a rooftop pool
The Adelphi Hotel is a boutique property tucked into Flinders Lane in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, set inside a converted 1930s warehouse that architects Denton Corker Marshall turned into a hotel, officially opening in 1992. It’s been voted Best Boutique Hotel in Melbourne, with 34 rooms and a standout rooftop pool deck.
The design is playful and a bit cheeky, with the interior taking cues from the original industrial building and layering on a touch of whimsy and confection-themed inspiration. It’s also right in the thick of things, just a short walk from Flinders Street Station, Federation Square and the MCG.
