Throughout September, Hunter Valley Gardens is hosting Spring Festival. This is an event designed to immerse visitors in a visual and sensory experience they will never forget. There are over 250,000 annuals planted throughout the gardens along with entertainments, activities, attractions, demonstrations, talks, tours and workshops.

Float above the vineyards in a hot air balloon
For the more indulgent traveller, set your alarm clock for a sunrise hot air balloon with Balloon Aloft. On this one-hour flight, you’ll float above the Hunter Valley vineyards to heights or more than 600 metres. Enjoy tastings at wineries
You can’t visit the Hunter Valley without perusing the wineries! At the Hunter’s cellar doors you can taste a wide variety of wines. Getting a few photos with the wildlife and vines along the way is a must. Make sure you stop by the tourism centre to pick up an all-important map of the wineries.
