Seal Bay

No trip to Kangaroo Island is complete without a trip to Seal Bay. There are no enclosures or cages at Seal Bay, offering one of the most unique nature-based experiences. This is the only place in the world where you can get up close and personal with Australian sea lions! Don’t forget to pack your camera though, the Bay guarantees incredible views of the coastline and sea lion colony.

Island Beehive

Take the family to Island Beehive where world renowned Certified Organic Ligurian Bee Honey is produced. Have a peek at the interactive Visitor Centre, see the production factory and enjoy free tastings of organic honey. Enjoy delicious scones in the café and visit the shop for an array of products. The kids will enjoy this unique experience that they won’t get anywhere else!

Climb Remarkable Rocks

Iconic to the island, it has taken 500 million years for rain, wind and pounding waves to create the Remarkable Rocks. The kids can enjoy playing hide and seek in the rocks and you can get some excellent photos of the photogenic Casuarina Islets. We recommend visiting early morning and early evening to enjoy the stunning sunrises and sunsets around these amazing sculptures.

Explore Admirals Arch

Admirals Arch is one of Kangaroo Island’s most impressive and unusual natural landmarks. The family can take an easy walk on the boardwalk and see the fur-seals play among the rocks and you may even spot fur-seal pups playing near the rock pools beneath the arch!
