The Routes Worth Knowing About

There’s a lot to dig through in this latest sale, but here are some of the standout fares across the network we think are worth taking a good look at:

Adelaide to Kangaroo Island (Kingscote) from $119 one-way

Melbourne to Launceston from $119 one-way

Melbourne to Adelaide from $129 one-way

Canberra to Melbourne from $149 one-way

Sydney to Adelaide under $200 one-way

Sydney to Perth and Melbourne to Perth also feature in the 190+ routes on offer

The routes span the full spectrum of Australian travel, and at these prices, there’s very little reason to stay home!

Where We’d Go

Need some inspiration? Here are a few trip ideas worth building around the sale.

Tasmania: Cradle Mountain Lodge via Launceston

Flying into Launceston from Melbourne for as little as $119 makes a Tasmanian wilderness escape much more affordable. From the airport, it’s around a two-hour drive to Cradle Mountain Lodge; one of Australia’s most iconic nature retreats, nestled at the edge of the Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park. This otherworldly escape is all about roaring fireplaces, wombats wandering past your cabin at dusk, hikes through Australian alpine environments and spa days spent warming up and winding down.

You’ll talk about this one for years. Check out Cradle Mountain Lodge here.

Melbourne: The Adelphi Hotel

Flying into Melbourne from elsewhere in the network? Book yourself into The Adelphi Hotel on Flinders Lane; a design-forward boutique property right in the heart of the CBD. Step outside for gallery-hopping, world-class food, and late nights in one of Australia’s most exciting cities.

Hunter Valley: Estate Tuscany via Sydney

Fly into Sydney and head north to the Hunter Valley for something slow paced and indulgent. Estate Tuscany brings a touch of Italian countryside to the NSW wine region, with villa-style accommodation and views across the vines. Spend a weekend dropping into cellar doors and enjoying a total lack of plans.

Enjoy a weekend of wine and slow living in the Hunter Valley at Estate Tuscany.

Adelaide: Mantra Adelaide Central

If it’s a city break you’re after, fly into Adelaide and check into Mantra Adelaide Central; a super central, well-appointed property in the heart of the city. Take a short walk to the Central Market and Rundle Street or drive into the Adelaide Hills, to the beach and beyond.

With fares from Sydney under $200 and various interstate routes on offer, there’s never been a better excuse to give Adelaide the attention it deserves. Take a look at Mantra Adelaide Central.

Kangaroo Island: Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge

Adelaide to Kingscote from $119 is one of the best value fares in the sale, and the destination absolutely delivers, especially if you’re seeking an escape with a little adventure mixed in. Kangaroo Island remains one of Australia’s most remarkable wildlife and nature experiences and Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge sits in a stunning coastal setting at American River, where soaking up nature is part of the next.

Check out Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge and its new luxury villas, which give you the perfect base from which to explore the island’s beaches, sea lion colonies, and eucalyptus forests.
