One must see on your walk is the Railway Station which operated between 1902 – 1967 which is now the National Trust Museum. Within its grounds you will find the former police station and former customs house.

The lake changes colour from blush to bright pink to white and blue depending on the salinity of the water and the light conditions. Whilst you stroll along the shore keep a look out for The Loch Eel Monster known as ‘Lochie’ a new sculpture installation which was added earlier this year.
