13th November 2017
Credit Union Christmas Pageant – Saturday 18th of November
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas with the Credit Union Christmas Pageant returning to town this weekend. Celebrating 85 years of Christmas cheer, the Pageant will be nothing short of spectacular this year.
The Pageant will commence from the corner of King William Street and South Terrace in Adelaide at 9.30am before weaving its way through the city along King William Street, Wakefield Street, Pulteney Street and Grenfell Street, until reaching the Magic Cave at David Jones. Which is your favourite float? Will it be the big friendly Bruto or everyone’s favourite horses Nipper and Nimble? Be dazzled and entertained by magical floats, marching bands, clowns and choirs as you await Father Christmas’ arrival on his beautiful sleigh.
There will be FREE public transport on Pageant Day up until 2pm. This applies to all buses, trams and trains. Your regular service will terminate near the Pageant route.
It’s never too early to get to the city to get your favourite spot along the Pageant route, and we all know spaces are filled quickly, so make sure you know when your Adelaide Metro service leaves and where it arrives.
If you decide to drive in, visit the Credit Union Christmas Pageant website for handy parking locations offering a low rate flat fee for the day.
After the Pageant?
