Cape Byron Lighthouse

The Cape Byron Lighthouse is one of Byron Bay’s most iconic destinations, sitting on Australia’s most easterly point. You’ll enjoy some of the best views of the ocean and if you’re lucky you might even catch a sighting of turtles, dolphins and humpback whales. Make sure to visit before sunrise to catch the most magical light over Byron!

Broken Head Nature Reserve

Only ten minutes south of Byron Bay, Broken Head Nature Reserve provides you with several photo ops of Australia’s most pristine beaches. Follow the walking track taking you from the beachfront holiday park, through the rainforest, and then trailing around the cliff top before delivering you at the enchanting Three Sisters Lookout. Definitely worth a visit to take a couple of snaps!

Main Beach

By far the most popular and accessible beach from the town, Main Beach is the best place to go to enjoy white sand and calm clear waters. Pick your spot on the sand and soak up the vibrant and colourful atmosphere. Make sure to visit during sunset and you will find yourself taking postcard-worthy snaps!

Dalwood Falls

You can’t visit Byron Bay without treating yourself to the sight of the most spectacular waterfalls in Dalwood Falls. It is a short drive to Alstonville through the little town of Ballina but remember to take a camera as it is an extremely scenic drive! Dalwood Falls is home to natural swimming holes, open calm waterfalls and rocks to sun bake on.
