House of Expressos // 11-13 Church Street, Maitland
Open from 6am until 3pm Monday to Friday, the House of Expressos serves breakfast, brunch and lunch, specialising in great coffee and light meals. This cosy little café with its friendly staff is where all the locals stop for their daily caffeine hit as well as their range of sandwiches, rolls, wraps and salads if you’re feeling peckish.
Black Label Espresso // 2/427 High Street, Maitland
This little espresso bar is serving up your daily coffee dose between 6am and 3pm weekdays, 7am to 1pm on Saturdays and 8am to 12pm on Sundays! Black Label Espresso encourages customers to BYO coffee cups as well as reducing the amount of plastic waste (think no plastic bottles or straws). Each week the espresso bar offers two house blends and has a single origin blend that is changed weekly.

Less than 5 minutes from Hunter Gateway Motel, Bliss Coffee Roasters are open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 2pm. Discover their range of beans sourced from around the globe including the Americas, Asia, Africa and the Pacific as well as the occasional specialty roast. Don’t be confused when you arrive at Bliss Coffee Roasters as they are coffee traders first and foremost, they do have baristas on site!
