The Round House is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Murray Bridge and was completed in 1876 during the construction of the first ever bridge to span the Murray River. This unique hexagonal shaped building is steeped in history. The building was previously used as a school, post office and church. Take a tour of the historic building and wander through the beautiful surrounding gardens overlooking the river. Whilst you’re visiting, there are loads of fun things for the kids to do including: dress up in hat and tails, play some old Victorian games and even write a letter using nib and ink.
